Donald Trump canceled his weekend golf plans in New Jersey, ostensibly to be at the White House to make sure “law and order” is enforce in Washington.

Trump also tweeted that he had signed “a very strong Executive Order protecting American Monuments, Memorials, and Statues – and combating recent Criminal Violence.”

The White House said the cancelation had nothing to do with New Jersey’s new executive order that requires all visitors to be quarantined for 14 days. Apparently the streets are quiet and the statues and monuments remain intact because Trump has decided to head out to his Virginia golf course.

It should be noted that rain is in the forecast for New Jersey on Saturday afternoon, while it’s partly cloudy in northern Virginia.

The White House pool reporter notes: “A small group of protesters at the entrance to the club held signs that included, ‘Trump Makes Me Sick’ and ‘Dump Trump’.
A woman walking a small white dog nearby also gave the motorcade a middle finger salute.”
