CNN reporting 13 of 14 cars derailed.  Some of which are not “safe enough to search”.  “We know there’s nobody alive in them at this point,” according to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Ed Troyer.

Trump is getting criticized for his initial response to the train derailment in Washington state. Instead of offering condolences, he offered up a sales pitch.  A little soon to be selling infrastructure (he didn’t mention the victims until a tweet 10 minutes later).


Update: 12:45pm EST, Monday, 12/18/2017

A train derails in Pierce County, Washington. It’s being called a mass casualty incident with multiple fatalities. A passenger car is dangling over a highway. At least 75 people have been taken to local hospitals.
