Who would have thought it possible that Matt Drudge would turn on Trump? And it’s not just Drudge. Cracks are showing in the president’s support from Fox News too. These two outlets have carried Trump’s water so long they have Popeye arms. The most noted shift is coming from the Drudge Report. CNN’s Oliver Darcy writes:

The narrative-setting news aggregation website, founded in 1995 by Matt Drudge, has spotlighted an overwhelming amount of negative news for the Trump White House in the last several weeks.

Today the headline on the Drudge Report screams, “FOX SHOCK: 51% WANT TRUMP REMOVED.” The President has noticed the negativity. Today, Trump tweeted that “Fox News doesn’t delivery for US anymore,” and by us he means for the man in the mirror.

…Court Justice & I turned him down (he’s been terrible ever since), Shep Smith, @donnabrazile (who gave Crooked Hillary the debate questions & got fired from @CNN), & others, @FoxNews doesn’t deliver for US anymore. It is so different than it used to be. Oh well, I’m President!

It’s not just Shepard Smith, Donna Brazile, and Judge Napolitano though. This week there was a rare defection on Fox and Friends as Brian Kilmeade spoke out against Trump.

Since Trump is mad at his pals in the “media,” he is trying to best to get his base to switch their support over to “One America News,” a small outlet that is clearly all-in on Trump. After Trump’s negative Fox News tweet today, he gave the network a shout-out, saying:

Thank you to @OANN One America News for your fair coverage and brilliant reporting. It is appreciated by many people trying so hard to find a new, consistent and powerful VOICE!

And his endorsement for the network may be working. When we tried to visit the website today, it took a few times.. “Brilliant reporting” must take longer to load.
