Democrats don’t think they can get a fair shake from Fox News, so they won’t let it broadcast their pre-primary candidate debates, reports the Washington Post.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez “cited a story in the New Yorker magazine this week that detailed how Fox has promoted President Trump’s agenda.

“The article, entitled ‘The Making of the Fox News White House,’ suggested that [Fox News Channel] had become a propaganda vehicle for Trump,” the Post says.

Among other things, the New Yorker article said Trump gets advice from Fox on-air personalities, including Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs.

Fox hosted one of the Democratic primary debates in 2016, and it has proposed carrying another this year. The DNC plans 12 debates, beginning in June.

Fox News Senior Vice President issued a statement asking the DNC to reconsider its decision.
