One has to wonder about the wisdom of inviting Mike Lindell for a live television interview. But there was Newsmax, the ultra-right cable channel, having Mr. MyPillow, live and in living color, once again peddle his conspiracy theories about Dominion voting machines. The problem is Newsmax (and Lindell) have been threatened with lawsuits by Dominion, lawsuits big enough to sink a nascent “news” outlet.

So, here we are in the middle of the interview when, predictably as the sun rising, Lindell goes off on Dominion.

Anchor Bob Sellers appeared to expect a Lindell outburst and quickly began reading what appeared to be prepared legal disclaimers. “…We at Newsmax haven’t been able to verify any of those allegations.” When Lindell wouldn’t stop talking, Sellers asked his producers to stop the interview. When that didn’t happen Sellers did something that rarely happens on live TV, the interviewer walked away. Watch below.

Lindell’s personal account was banned last month, and after he tried to use the official MyPillow account to spew lies about the election that account was shut down this week as well.

But if you thought this segment would lead to a ban on Newsmax, you’d be wrong. Instead, the network appears to be kissing up to Lindell. Their effort to butter him up after the segment included Sellers throwing himself under the bus.

And here was a tweet from Seller’s co-anchor during the segment.
