Donald Trump has had numerous cabinet and staff members leave their jobs. But few have spoken out against the president. It took Anthony Scaramucci two years to finally admit Trump was ‘horrific’ and ‘despicable.’ While we have heard that former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has called Trump a “f***ing moron” behind the scenes, on the record he uses much less damning language like “undisciplined.” Then you have people like Former Defense Secretary James Mattis who says he won’t “discuss sitting presidents.” But already today people were surprised that John Bolton had the nerve to quickly contradict his former boss via Twitter.

And apparently, he wasn’t done. Bolton contacted several reporters to reiterate he wasn’t fired.

Bolton also let a reporter at the Washington Post know he will speak more about his time in the White House, in the future.

Perhaps he will, one day, have his say in front of Congress.
