The Week: Man who Trump once called ‘my African-American’ is leaving the GOP over its ‘pro-white’ agenda
Three years after President Trump referred to a black campaign rally attendee as “my African-American,” the man has decided to leave the Republican party and launch a 2020 campaign for the House of Representatives as an independent.
“President Trump is a rich guy who is mired in white privilege to the extreme… Republicans are too sheepish to call him out on anything and they are afraid of losing their positions and losing any power themselves.”
TRUMP once called Gregory Cheadle “my African American.”
But now Cheadle is leaving the @GOP, saying it's pursuing a “pro-white” agenda & using black people like him as “political pawns.”
