The North Carolina State Board of Elections has issued a statement warning voters of what the president encouraged them to do. Yesterday, in a visit to the state, Donald Trump suggested his supporters test the mail-in voting system by trying to vote twice, once in person and once by mail. That’s a felony. It’s also a crime to encourage people to vote more than once.

Yesterday, Trump said: “Let them send it in and let them go vote, and if their system’s as good as they say it is, then obviously they won’t be able to vote,” the president said. “If it isn’t tabulated, they’ll be able to vote.”

Today, Trump didn’t apologize or say he was wrong.
