Senator Marco Rubio always seems like he’s trying to climb a hill where he will never reach the top. He tries to dip his toe into everything, then tweets bible verses just to confuse everyone. In appearances on Fox News over the last 24 hours, Rubio went along with Sean Hannity as he questioned President Joe Biden’s cognitive ability. Rubio then called Biden a “puppet” and downplayed the seriousness of what happened on January 6th.

All this didn’t win Rubio any fans, but things got worse for him when he shared one of his daily bible versions. This time it was dripping with more irony than usual. After worshipping at the altar of Donald Trump for the last 4+ years, he wrote: “You hate those who serve worthless idols, but I trust in the LORD.”

He must have known this was the type of reaction he’d receive.
