There is some encouraging news for five Democrats looking to take on Donald Trump next year. A new poll from Washington Post/ABC News finds that Trump would trail former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Kamala Harris, and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg. All candidates, except Buttigieg lead by double digits:

Trump v. Biden: 38-54%
Trump v. Sanders: 40-52%
Trump v. Warren: 40-51%
Trump v. Harris: 40-50%
Trump v. Buttigieg: 41-47%

Just two minutes before tweeting that he was leaving for a 9/11 ceremony at the Pentagon, Trump found time to rail against the poll.

Several reporters were quick to fact check Trump’s tweets, including Bloomberg’s Sahil Kapur:

“15 points”? The last Washington Post/ABC head-to-head poll one day before the 2016 election showed Clinton winning the popular vote by 3 points. (She ultimately won it by 2.1 points.)

It’s also worth pointing out a poll from Trump’s favorite network, Fox News, yielded similar results less than a month ago.
