Quote of the Day: Sen. Debbie Stabenow Shuts Down Mitch McConnell

Sometimes, it’s best to take a step back and look at the big picture. Inflation is real but it’s not the only part of the economy. Emerging from a horrific pandemic, jobs have come roaring back. Wages are up too.

In an effort to get ahead of the Fox News/GOP taking points that will soon drive the media narrative, Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan had a counterpoint.

“There was $7 trillion in new debt and 2.6 million jobs lost during Trump. But when McConnell comes to this podium, all he does is complain that we’re not cleaning up their mess fast enough.”
