Florida Senator Marco Rubio released a statement on Donald Trump’s impeachment trial. He will not be voting to remove the president from office. But for us, this quote from the statement jumps off the page:

“Just because actions meet a standard of impeachment does not mean it is in the best interest of the country to remove a President from office.” Sen. Marco Rubio R-FL

Rubio admits Trump’s conduct is impeachable, but he doesn’t believe Trump’s removal from office is in the best interest of the country.
