We know that Donald Trump has spent about more than 90 days playing golf during his first year in office. Today though has to be one of his most puzzling days to tee it up. Just three days ago the President signed a proclamation encouraging Americans to use the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday to perform an act of “civic work and community service.”
Trump: "I will now sign the proclamation making January 15, 2018 the Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday, and encourage all Americans to observe this day with acts of civic work and community service in honor of Dr. King's extraordinary life…and it was extraordinary indeed." pic.twitter.com/CYSHWwH5sZ

Trump isn’t doing as he says. His holiday began this morning when he hit the links.
Per WH pool, Pres Trump has arrived at his FL golf club, no public events on his schedule today.
Last Fri he encouraged all Americans to observe MLK Day "with acts of civic work and community service in honor of Dr. King’s extraordinary life…& his great legacy."

Most past Presidents, in recent memory, have spent the day giving back. Something that has not gone unnoticed on Twitter.
Barack Obama honored MLK Day by volunteering, doing acts of community service and civic work with his family.
