Today at the White House, Donald Trump responded to a question about Rep. Rashida Tlaib by saying, “you should see the horrible things that Talib has said about Israel…” Then he lumped all Jewish people who vote for Democrats together saying:
“I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat, I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty.”
Dan Rather remarked:
Let’s be crystal clear. When Pres. Trump says that Jews who vote for Democrats show “either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty,” he is summoning the forces of bigotry and anti-Semitism with all of its blood-stained history.
This is it, Trump’s antisemitic philosophy exposed.
If Jews don’t agree with him, they aren’t good Jews.
This is how he gets us killed. Sides with the “good ones” and spouts hate at the rest, coded or not.
Thus the Soros caravan conspiracy that led to the Pittsburgh massacre. https://t.co/5kAULiF1Xy

The president just called around 75% of American Jews ignorant and/or disloyal, which IMO is straightforward antisemitism but if you're in the other 25% your mileage may vary https://t.co/5jzQS4ODQX
