Houston can’t catch a break.  The city is being hammered again by heavy rains.  Some parts of  the city saw over 5 inches of rain fall last night, flooding streets and stranding numerous cars. Many residents had to be rescued, including one driver who was trapped in an overturned car. The rain was so intense it fell  through the closed roof of Minute Maid Park during a Houston Astros baseball game. “This weather event is a very serious one,” said Sylvester Turner, Houston’s mayor. “And everyone needs to take it very seriously.”
