Joe Biden’s cabinet nominations are complete.  All Democrats, they include 10 men and five women.  Today in Delaware he introduced Merrick Garland as his Attorney General nominee:

“You won’t work for me. You are not the president or the vice president’s lawyer. Your loyalty is not to me. It’s to the law. The Constitution. The people of this nation. To guarantee justice.”

During the event, Biden also announced that he was nominating three women for top positions at the Justice Department.

In addition today, NBC News writes:

Biden is expected to nominate Gina Raimondo as Commerce secretary, Marty Walsh as his Labor secretary and Isabel Guzman as Small Business Administrator, people familiar with the decisions told NBC News Thursday.

Raimundo has served as the Democratic governor of Rhode Island since 2016. Walsh has served as the Democratic mayor of Boston since 2014. Guzman has served as the director of California’s Office of the Small Business Advocate since 2019.
