Joe Biden is pushing a message of positivity and unity. He has been doing this for a while, but it was emphasized during a new ad that his campaign ran during the first game of the World Series Tuesday night. The ad narrated by actor Sam Elliott talks about a common love for America:

“No Democratic rivers, no Republican mountains, just this great land and all that’s possible on it with a fresh start. Cures we can find, futures we can shape, work to reward, dignity to protect. There is so much we can do, if we choose to take on problems and not each other.”

Scott Huffman, a Democrat running for Congress in North Carolina’s 13th district wrote, The new Joe Biden ad with Sam Elliot was beautiful and inspiring. I’m so happy that it lines up with one of my ads with a message of unity. We need to start caring for each other again and come together.”

It’s true, this message couldn’t be more of a contrast to Donald Trump, who while this ad was airing, was in Pennsylvania Tuesday listing off all his personal complaints.  The speech wasn’t aimed at the people of Erie, instead, it was just about the man in the mirror.
