Rudy Giuliani still isn’t doing his client any favors. After staying quiet for a couple short weeks he is back in front of microphones. This time some of what he’s saying is being challenged by a new foe, Michael Cohen’s new attorney.  Giuliani made the rounds of practically every Sunday show talking about Michael Cohen.

“Giuliani reiterated in a text to CNN Monday morning, ‘the truth will set you free. The President did nothing wrong with Michael Cohen. Everything has been a dead-end because there is nothing there.’
These sources would not comment on whether Cohen’s attorney, Guy Petrillo, has been meeting with prosecutors in New York and referred inquiries about any potential case to Petrillo.”
Here’s what Giuliani isn’t used too… Michael Cohen’s last attorney had a cozy relationship with Donald Trump. His new attorney is on the other side of the spectrum and Lanny Davis, close friend of the Clintons, appears ready for a fight.

It is the clearest indication yet that Michael Cohen has completely changed his strategy.  Hiring a close friend of Hillary Clinton was a shot at Donald Trump.

Vanity Fair wrote about Cohen’s new relationship with Davis .   One striking part of it reads:

“…particularly since Davis came on board, Cohen’s mood has been somewhat buoyed. He is at least somewhat at ease knowing that there will be someone highly skilled at this high-wire act of defending someone under extreme pressure and legal jeopardy, and overall, those around him believe he ‘won the hell out of the week,’ as one person close to Cohen put it.

‘For the first time, people are willing to say he’s being used as collateral damage and that they are going to hold Trump accountable for his misdeeds instead of holding Cohen accountable,’ this person added.”
