It’s well-established that no one in congress enjoys hearing himself talk more than Ohio Representative Jim Jordan.
The grandstanding congressman was at it again today as he shouted at Dr. Anthony Fauci over pandemic restrictions during a House Oversight coronavirus subcommittee hearing Thursday. When Jordan ignored attempts by the committee chair, Rep. James Clyburn, to move on, California Congresswoman Maxine Waters stepped in and shut him down:
“Respect the chair and shut your mouth.”
Judging by the responses to the video on Twitter, Rep. Waters spoke for most of America when she said that.
