Donald Trump loves being on magazine covers, but he probably doesn’t love Time magazine’s latest issue.

While Time magazine and much of the country is focused on immigration right now as Vox reports there wasn’t much emphasis on it at Trump’s rally in Minnesota.

“Trump quickly mentioned family separation but didn’t stick with the topic for long.

‘By the way, I signed an executive order, we’re going to keep families together,’ Trump said. ‘But the border is going to be just as tough as it’s been.’

‘Democrats don’t care about the impact of uncontrolled migration on your communities, your schools, your hospitals, your jobs, or your safety,” Trump added. “Democrats put illegal immigrants before American citizens. What the hell is going on?’

At one point, the crowd burst into familiar “build that wall, build that wall” chants.”

He didn’t have much else to say about the innocent children who may still be kept away from their parents, instead, he chose to brag more about his own money.

Usually, in politics, it helps to be able to relate to everyone. Sure wealthy people often rise to the top, but they often act like they know what it’s like to be middle or lower class. They don’t want to be called elite. It’s not a compliment. But Trump marches to his own beat so he decided to boast that he is better than “elite” status saying:

“You ever notice they always call the other side ‘the elite.’ The elite! Why are they elite? I have a much better apartment than they do. I’m smarter than they are. I’m richer than they are. I became president and they didn’t.”

Elite by definition is, “a select part of a group that is superior to the rest in terms of ability or qualities.”
