Meeting with the nation’s governors today, Donald Trump talked extensively about the school shooting in Florida and raised a few eyebrows when he said he would have rushed into the school unarmed.

“You don’t know until you test it, but I think, I really believe I would have run in there even if I didn’t have a weapon,” the president said.

 

He also said the country needs to have conversations about opening mental institutions again and Trump again chastised the Broward County law enforcement officers who didn’t enter the school saying they “weren’t exactly Medal of Honor winners” and “the way they performed was frankly disgusting.”

And, the governor of Washington, Jay Inslee confronted the president on teachers carrying guns.  He doesn’t agree with Donald Trump. See the exchange above.
