Donald Trump is being accused of betraying the military today. This comes after the reports that he has known for months that Russia paid Taliban mercenaries to kill U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan.
You know, it’s entirely possible that Donald Trump might not actually love our military and veterans as much as he says he does.

Republican strategist Steve Schmidt wrote:
“This is a betrayal of historic dimensions. Our faithless Commander in Chief rewarded Putin after the Russians paid out their blood money for dead American soldiers. Trump and his Congressional collaborators should never look a member of our military in the eye again.”
Former vice president Joe Biden adds, “It’s a betrayal of the most sacred duty we bear as a nation, to protect and equip our troops when we send them into harm’s way.”
The group Vote Vets released this ad saying “if you are going to act like a traitor, you don’t get to thank us for our service.”

Trump's approval ratings among active military were already low, for a Republican president.
This is likely to make those numbers fall ever further.https://t.co/Qt3wXHN0z6
