Joe Biden is making a last-minute push for Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. The two Georgia Democrats face incumbent Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue in a runoff tomorrow. While on a stop in Atlanta Monday afternoon the President-elect made a passionate plea, “Georgia, the whole nation is looking to you…One state can chart the course not just for the next four years but for the next generation.”

Biden drew a clear distinction between the candidates and where their loyalties lie.

Biden also pointed out that the Democrats are ready to vote for more stimulus, but they need a Democratic majority to do so:

“If you send Jon and the Reverend to Washington, those $2,000 checks will go out the door, restoring hope and decency and honor for so many people who are struggling right now… If you send Senators Perdue and Loeffler back to Washington those checks will never get there. It’s just that simple. The power is literally in your hands.”

Biden didn’t directly reference Donald Trump’s questionable call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, but he did say “Thank you Georgia. We won three times.” And he addressed what he called the current administration’s “God awful start” with the vaccine rollout.
