The Washington Post‘s David Fahrenthold continues to follow the money when it comes to Donald Trump and his businesses. In the aftermath of Charlottesville, 19 of the 25 events scheduled for Mar-a-Lago’s 2017-2018 season were cancelled. But business at Mar-a-Lago has predictably turned political as pro-Trump groups and supporters like Pat Robertson help the country club make back that lost revenue. On Twitter, Fahrenthold wrote, “Here’s why I care: if @realdonaldtrump’s new customers think they bailed out the “winter White House,” what might they expect from him in return?”
