Amy Klobuchar’s husband has been in the hospital battling coronavirus, but today the Minnesota Senator says his condition has improved enough for him to return home.

This message came three days after Klobuchar wrote that that the 52-year-old “kept having a temperature and a bad, bad cough and when he started coughing up blood he got a test and a chest X-ray and they checked him into a hospital in Virginia because of a variety of things including very low oxygen levels which haven’t really improved. He now has pneumonia and is on oxygen but not a ventilator.”

Klobuchar said she and her husband had been in different places for the last two weeks and since she is outside the 14-day period for getting sick, she has been advised that she doesn’t need to get a test.
