Jeff Sites is campaigning to unseat Jim Jordan from Ohio’s Fourth Congressional District, and he wasted no time unleashing a devastating ad against the outspoken Congressman. The video ad quickly grained traction on social media, amassing nearly 150,000 views and making the #FireJimJordan hashtag a top trending topic on twitter.

Sites is a military veteran and single father who works as a warehouse manager in Lima,Ohio. He unsuccessfully ran for the same office in 2020, coming in second in the Democratic primary. He says he decided to run again after the January 6 Insurrection because he says Jordan, an avid supporter of former president Trump who voted to overturn the presidential election results, bears some responsibility for that day.

Aside from noting that he is part of Ohio’s working class that he says Jordan has ignored, the ad goes scorched earth on the controversial congressman. It points out he supported Trump’s unpopular and unsuccessful attempts to kill Obamacare, his support of the Big Election Lie, and his widely-mocked arguments with Dr. Anthony Fauci about COVID protocols at congressional hearings. The ad even highlights the allegations made by several former Ohio State wrestlers that Jordan knew and did nothing about a team doctor accused of sexually abusing members of the team.

Ultimately, he paints a picture of Jordan as being inept and completely out of touch with the blue-collar people he was elected to represent.

“Jim Jordan doesn’t give a damn about people like us.”

It should not be surprising, considering how disliked Jordan is by voters on the left, that #FireJimJordan caught fire and elicited a slew of tweets.
