New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says the Trump administration has left the states in an impossible situation by turning over the burden of testing without any money to finance it. “We cannot do this without federal help,” Cuomo said. He also said asking states to do the testing is like “passing the buck without passing the bucks.”

Cuomo talked of his frustration with Trump in a sometimes fiery monologue during the governor’s daily briefing. Watch below.

Before he was finished speaking in Albany, Trump tweeted that Cuomo should spend more time doing and less time complaining.

Trump also sent tweets calling on states, all with Democratic governors, to be ‘liberated,’ meaning to lift the coronavirus restrictions. This comes a day after Trump said it was up to the states to decide when to reopen.
