It seems like we’ve been talking about this forever, but to see the words on paper is, well, powerful. There it is, in black and white. The words impeach and Donald John Trump in the same sentence in an official resolution from the United States House. You can read all of it here.

House Democrats released the text of the resolution that will outline how the impeachment investigation will proceed. According to NBC News, the House is expected to vote on the resolution on Thursday.

“[W]hether sufficient grounds exist for the House … to exercise its Constitutional power to impeach Donald John Trump, President of the United States of America.” – House Resolution on Impeachment

The resolution is expected to pass along party lines. Next will come open hearings with public testimony about the events surrounding Ukraine.
