Here’s a sentence we never expected to type.  Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un are planning to meet.  In person.  It could happen by May.  Trump was so excited about the announcement he made what is believed to be his first appearance in the White House press room today to “tease” that a big announcement was coming.

Just about an hour later South Korea’s National Security Adviser showed up o the White House lawn with this announcement.

There are still lots of questions about this meeting, the big one is where will it take place. Another is what stipulations will be worked out beforehand because as the New York Times says, this meeting is “a breathtaking gamble.”
