Donald Trump has long used the term “” as a way to mock Elizabeth Warren. Saturday, he took his “joke” even further by ridiculing the “Trail of Tears,” the forced relocation of Native Americans in the 1830’s. The New Republic’s Jeet Heer “The joke here is that the Trail of Tears was a genocide. Get it? Get it?”

The President has once again reaffirmed for the world what a despicable, racist, culturally insensitive excuse for a human being he is.

So it’s bad that Elizabeth Warren thought she was part Native American, was wrong about it and apologized but we’re all cool with the president of the United States making Trail of Tears jokes? Which one of these is the scandal?
