It’s hard to follow the hypocrisy of some in the Republican party. Today it’s Nikki Haley who is making heads spin. Two months ago today, the former Ambassador to the United Nations rebuked Donald Trump in the aftermath of January 6th:
“He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”
That was then, this is now. Today, Haley said she would support the 45th president if he ran again in 2024. While she has been considering a run herself, she said if her former boss runs she would not jump in the race. She then went on to praise him for “some fantastically great foreign policy things.”
