New York’s former law and order mayor, and the former United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York suddenly sounds like a very different person.

In what has to be the quote of the week, Donald Trump’s lawyer said of his client’s campaign finance crimes:

“Nobody got killed, nobody got robbed…This was not a big crime.”

Yes, that is an actual quote from Rudolph Giuliani, former tough guy prosecutor who was once known for locking them up and throwing away the key.  In an interview with The Daily Beast, Giuliani also said, “I think in two weeks they’ll start with parking tickets that haven’t been paid.”

A presidential candidate tried to illegally influence the outcome of an election by paying hush money to keep stories of his affairs quiet.  But nobody died!

The evolution of this story has gone from

George Conway, conservative attorney and spouse of Kellyanne Conway tweeted this:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, except where nobody gets killed or robbed.”
