Word is some in the White House are not happy about the mega-expensive dining room table and chairs ordered for Ben Carson, the Secretary of HUD.

So suddenly, the Secretary has asked that the $31,000 order be canceled.  And he’s released a statement:

“I was as surprised as anyone to find out that a $31,000 dining set had been ordered.  I have requested that the order be canceled. We will find another solution for the furniture replacement.”

CNN has obtained photos and descriptions of the luxe furnishings that taxpayers were about to buy.  Now, Dr. Carson and his wife are said to be looking for used furniture.
