Joe Biden will be traveling to Kenosha, Wisconsin tomorrow. This comes a day after Donald Trump traveled to the city, but failed to meet with Jacob Blake’s family, instead falsely claiming credit for preventing the city from burning to the ground. According to the Biden campaign:
“Joe and Jill Biden will travel to Wisconsin. Vice President will hold a community meeting in Kenosha to bring together Americans to heal and address the challenges we face. After Vice President Biden and Dr.Biden will make a local stop.”
This visit coincides with a new ad from Biden where he condemns those rioting and blames Trump for “fanning the flames.” HuffPost writes, “The ad mixes footage of Biden’s speech with images of the damage in Kenosha, of right-wing protesters in Portland, Oregon, and Charlottesville, Virginia, and of Trump standing in Washington, D.C.’s Lafayette Square after using tear gas to clear the area of protesters back in June.”
