Joe Biden has been on the airwaves a lot over the last week offering up his thoughts on how Donald Trump has handled the coronavirus crisis. But at least one person in the White House said she doesn’t want to hear from the former Vice President anymore. Instead she’d like to have Biden go one on one with Donald Trump. During an interview on Fox News today, Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway said:

“I think it’s really disappointing to have President Obama’s number two, who apparently doesn’t talk much to him, out there, criticizing, instead of saying ‘hey, here is what we did that we thought was effective. Why doesn’t Vice President Biden call the White House today and offer some support?”

Now it seems Biden’s campaign is calling her bluff, offering to set up a call with the president.

The White House has reportedly not yet responded to this offer.
