Joe Biden “will likely require a walking boot for several weeks.” That’s according to an orthopedist who examined the President-elect on Sunday. Biden reportedly slipped while playing with his dog, Major. According to the AP:

Biden suffered the injury on Saturday and visited an orthopedist at Delaware Orthopedic Specialists in Newark, Delaware, for an examination Sunday afternoon, his office said. A subsequent CT scan “confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot,” according to a statement from his doctor, Kevin O’Connor.
