Well, here we are, four years later and Donald Trump has fulfilled Lindsey Graham’s prophecy. Before he became a sycophant, the South Carolina Republican had many unkind words for Donald Trump. He said of Trump back in 2016 “My party has gone batshit crazy,” Graham told Fox News that Trump is “a kook. I think he’s crazy. I think he’s unfit to be president.”
But the most memorable line came from a Graham tweet on May 3, 2016. It was the day before Donald Trump became the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party.
