As the Carr fire continues to burn those impacted are now eligible for federal financial assistance. This comes a day after officials said a flat tire caused the massive fire. The tire’s rim apparently scraped the asphalt causing a spark that ignited the blaze. 300 square miles have reportedly been effected.
