On tax day, CNN’s Chris Cillizza has a reminder about Donald Trump’s tax returns. He says Trump’s team continues to say he can’t release his returns because they are under audit, but as Cillizza points out:
“That’s not true. Trump is, of course, able to release his tax returns even though he is under audit — Richard Nixon did so in 1973. To put it more accurately, Trump is unwilling to release his returns.”
