Apparently, this went too far even for Fox News. After an analyst said torture worked on Senator John McCain, he went on to call the ailing senator a “songbird,” meaning he gave the enemy secrets. Fox Business and Fox News said the analyst, Thomas McInerney, would not be booked again.
