NBC News: Death toll from Haiti earthquake climbs to 1,900
More than 9,900 people were injured in the 7.2 earthquake that struck the southwest part of the country Saturday, officials said.
There are now 1941 deaths attributed to the earthquake. That number is expected to continue to grow over the coming days.
A rescue effort is underway after Haiti was hit by a deadly earthquake and tropical storm.
