Get ready for Donald Trump’s first veto. If (and when) that happens it would be up to Congress to override the veto, but that won’t be easy. It would require a two-thirds majority. Chances are slim that would ever be achieved.
With the Senate poised to reject Trump's use of emergency powers, and Trump poised to veto it, history will record a perfect reflection of this man's presidency:
His first (maybe only) veto will be of a measure declaring him as having acted beyond his constitutional authority.
