Montana Burning As Glacier National Park Has Record-Setting Heat

Welcome

The fires in California have received most of the attention but Montana is also burning.  And in Glacier National Park yesterday, the temperature recorded its hottest temperature in history: 100 degrees.  Meanwhile a wildfire in the park has forced vacationers to evacuate.

The fires were started by lightening and spread quickly in the hot, dry, forest of northwest Montana.  The National Weather Service has issued red-flag warnings (for critical weather conditions) for much of Washington, Idaho and Montana.
