At a news conference in Richmond, Ralph Northam has refused to resign as the Governor of Virginia. Reversing himself, Northam now insists he’s not in the racist yearbook photo and that he’s never worn a KKK robe. He asks Virginians for the opportunity to “earn your forgiveness.” Northam did admit that he once darkened his face to “resemble Michael Jackson” at a dance contest in Texas.

“I believe now and then that I am not either of the people in that photo.” – Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam

The photo shows two people, one in KKK garb and another in blackface. Meanwhile, calls for his resignation continue to grow.
