To the likely surprise of no one, “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade this morning sharply criticized President Biden’s prime-time address. He slammed the president for not giving former President Trump credit for Operation Warp Speed, for one.

But it was what he said about a particular moment in Biden’s speech that made us stop for a second and wonder, “did he really say that?”

In discussing when Biden paused to discuss the 530,000 American lives that have been taken by the pandemic, Kilmeade actually said, and we quote:

“We don’t need to go over the 500,000 dead, we had that moment. Let’s talk about the future moving forward.”

Here’s the clip for you to watch him just utterly dismiss the grieving process for the families of all those we’ve lost.

Kilmeade apparently believes we’ve spent too much time grieving about the people that have died in the past year, and it’s time to let it go.

But that idea of “moving forward” is very on-brand for Kilmeade these days. A week after the Insurrection at the Capitol, Kilmeade was adamantly against Congress’ then- discussion about impeaching Trump for his role in inciting the attack. Even his co-host, Steve Doocy, thought he went overboard and pushed back on Kilmeade’s ridiculous assertion that impeachment made “no sense,” because Trump was about to leave office anyway.
