Welcome

Congress held a joint session today to ratify President-elect Joe Biden's 306-232 Electoral College win over President Donald Trump. Before counting and certifying the electoral votes before a joint session of Congress, Vice President Mike Pence released a letter saying he would not interfere in the count.

In the letter Pence writes:

“It is my considered judgment that my oath to support and defend the Constitution constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not.”

At a rally of his supporters, Trump continued to urge Pence to reject the electoral vote.
