The last time someone wore a mask while sitting at the resolute desk was never. Imagine the difference it would have made, the example it would have set for the President to lead by wearing a damn mask.

Instead, before today, it wasn’t macho enough for the previous occupant, who, by the way, was hospitalized, on oxygen, with Covid-19.

Joe Biden is trying to get a handle on this disastrous pandemic by first admitting its seriousness and demonstrating how to prevent it. The first executive order he signed mandated masks in federal buildings.
