As much of the nation is told to stay home over the holiday weekend as coronavirus cases skyrocket, Donald Trump is off to his golf course. The presidential motorcade arrived in Sterling, Va. this morning for his 365th day at a Trump property, an entire year of his presidency. It’s the 273rd day at a golf property.

Later today, Trump will travel to South Dakota for a Fourth of July fireworks display at Mr. Rushmore. Thousands are expected and there is no requirement for social distancing or masks. There’s also a concern for fires. The National Park Service stopped fireworks at Mt. Rushmore a decade ago over concern for wildfires.
