Quote Of The Day: Dana Nessel

Welcome

DETROIT, MI - OCTOBER 16: Dana Nessel, attorney for plaintiffs April DeBoer and Jayne Rouse, talks to the news media about the news that U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman decided today at a hearing to send a same-sex marrage case that could possibly have overturned Michigan's ban on same-sex marriages to trial instead of making an immediate ruling on the matter at the U.S. Courthouse October 16, 2013 in Detroit, Michigan. The lawsuit was brought by April DeBoer and Jayne Rouse, a gay couple who are raising three adopted children together. Michigan passed a constitutional amendment in 2004 that defined marriage as being between a man and a woman. (Photo by Bill Pugliano/Getty Images)

The Attorney General of Michigan has seen her fair share of post-election shenanigans from the GOP. Today on MSNBC she had one of the better analogies of the never-ending Republican efforts.

“The post-election process has been like a ‘Friday the 13th’ movie, you know? … No matter how many times you shoot Jason or you stab Jason or you electrocute Jason, he just keeps coming back at you.”  —Michigan AG Dana Nessel on MSNBC
