When Donald Trump was asked today about Turkey’s incursion of Syria, the president responded: “It’s not our problem.” That begs the question, why then are Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Vice President Mike Pence heading to Turkey to try and speak with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan?
